What Cadence does for shops and retail
One geofence per branch
Add each shop as a location with its own address and radius. Choose which branches each person may punch in at, and every punch records which branch it came from.
Late marks without arguments
Set the opening time and the grace minutes once. Late, half day and full day are worked out the same way for everyone, from the punch times.
Lunch breaks that are not counted as work
If you turn it on, staff can punch out for lunch and back in, up to six times a day. The time away is not counted as worked.
Salary from the days worked
Set each person’s monthly salary and Cadence shows what the month comes to, with the loss-of-pay days and the reason for each.
Cash, UPI or bank — all on record
Pay salary, advances and bonuses from one Pay button. Every payment gets a numbered voucher you can print or share on WhatsApp, and the cash book totals what went out by cash, UPI and bank.
A lost phone, cut off in a click
Each person punches in from a phone you approved. When a phone is lost or handed on, revoke it and it can no longer punch in.

Can I track attendance across several branches?
Yes. Each branch is a location with its own geofence, each employee can be allowed at all branches or only some, and every punch records the branch it was made at. Extra locations are a ₹499/month add-on on Starter and included in Business and Enterprise.
Do I need to buy a biometric machine?
No. Cadence runs on the staff’s own Android phones, so there is no device to buy, install or repair at each branch.
Can Cadence record salary paid in cash?
Yes. Payments can be recorded as cash, UPI or bank transfer. Each one gets a numbered payment voucher, and the cash book shows the totals by method for any period.
