Everything Cadence does, and which plan it is in
One record, from the punch-in on a phone to the payslip at the end of the month. Here is every part of it, without the marketing.
A punch-in that means something
Staff punch in from their own phone with a selfie and a GPS fix, inside the office geofence. Punching happens only in the app, never in a browser — a webcam can be pointed at a photograph.
Selfie and geofence
A photo with every punch, and a location checked against the office radius. The office the punch was made at is recorded beside it.
Late, half day, full day
Grace minutes and the hours that make a half or full day come from the shift, so the status is worked out the same way for everyone.
Breaks and site visits
Optionally, people can punch out for lunch or a site visit and punch back in — up to six times a day. The time in between is not counted as worked. Off unless the company turns it on.
Forgotten punch-outs, handled honestly
At the end of the shift the day is closed automatically and marked "punch-out missed" — it is not quietly counted as worked.
Who is in, right now
A live view of today: in, out, late, on leave and absent, with the punch times and site for each person.
Corrections on the record
Admins can mark or correct a day. Staff can too, within a window the company sets after punch-out — after that it takes an admin.
Calendar, reports and CSV
A month calendar for each person, with their average working hours, and a monthly report for the whole company, downloadable as CSV.
Schedules that match how you actually work
Define shifts once, assign people to them, and move someone to a new shift from a date — earlier days keep the timings they were worked under.
Shifts and week-offs
Start and end times, grace, half- and full-day thresholds, and weekly offs, per shift.
Per-person overrides
A company default, a shift, or one person’s own schedule — whichever is most specific applies.
Dated changes
A shift move takes effect from the day you choose, so last month’s lateness is judged by last month’s shift.
Balances that actually decrement
Leave types and yearly quotas set by policy, requests from the phone, decisions from the console or the app — and a balance everyone can trust.
Leave policy
Choose which leave types the company offers and each one’s yearly quota; individual quotas can be adjusted per person.
Request and approve
Employees apply from the app with dates and a reason; admins and staff approve or reject, and the employee is notified.
Admins take leave too
Admins and staff apply for their own leave like anyone else. A company with a single admin can approve their own, and it is marked as self-approved in the log.
Holidays
Fixed and optional holidays for the year, added one by one or imported from a CSV, applied to everybody at once.
Pay built from the month that was recorded
Salary is calculated from the attendance that actually happened — loss-of-pay days are taken out, not estimated — and every amount is stored in paise, so totals always add up.
Salary statements
Set each person’s salary and see what the month comes to, with the days paid, the loss-of-pay days and the reason for each.
Payslips
Monthly payslips as PDFs, generated at month end and downloadable by the employee from the app.
Business & EnterpriseRound-figure net pay
Optionally round each payslip’s net pay up to the next ₹10, ₹50 or ₹100, with the round-off shown on the payslip so the figures still add up.
Payments on record
Salary, advances, bonuses and reimbursements from one Pay button. A payment can be undone straight away, corrected for 30 days with every change kept, or voided with a reason — never deleted.
Payment vouchers
Every payment gets a numbered voucher for the financial year, with the amount in words and signature lines, to print or share on WhatsApp.
Ledger and cash book
Each person’s salary ledger with an opening and closing balance for any period, and a cash book of every payment with totals by cash, UPI and bank.
Payslips that keep up
Correct attendance, leave or a holiday after a payslip is made and it is marked out of date, with a before-and-after preview to recalculate it.
Month-end checklist
Missing punch-outs, pending leave, payslips to make, finalise and pay — one list for closing the month, each step a tap away. It comes forward a week before your salary day and stays until the month is closed.
Your choice who sees pay
Decide whether employees can see their own salary in the app. When it is off, the API refuses the request — it is not merely hidden.
Every phone accounted for, every change on record
A new phone has to be approved before it can punch in, a lost one can be cut off in a click, and every change an admin makes is logged with the value before and after.
Device approval
See the phone each person punches in from; approve a new one, or revoke a lost or handed-on phone instantly.
Roles that fit
Admins run everything; staff handle the day to day; employees see only their own record.
Activity log
Who changed what — an attendance correction, a salary, a role — with before and after values. Changes are recorded on every plan; reading the log is Business and up.
Business & EnterprisePrivacy requests built in
Employees can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion of their data from the app, and admins answer from the console — as India’s DPDP Act expects.
Every branch, every business
Add each office with its own geofence, choose who may punch where, and see which office every punch came from. Run several companies from one login.
Multiple offices
Each location has its own address and radius. An employee can be allowed at all of them or only some.
Several companies, one login
An owner or accountant who looks after more than one business sees them side by side, switches without signing out, and copies shifts, holidays and policies from one to another.
Every plan
Connects to the systems you already run
A REST API and signed webhooks for your HR or payroll system, with a sandbox full of sample data to build against before touching real staff.
Onboard a whole team
Create up to a hundred employees per API call, link the ones already in Cadence to your own IDs, and get a ready-to-send WhatsApp or SMS invite for each.
Signed webhooks
Every punch, leave decision and change, delivered with a signature, retried on failure, and visible in a delivery log.
A sandbox
Test keys against a copy of your company filled with sample people, so nothing you try reaches a real employee.
A phone for staff. Both, for admins
The Android app is for everyone; the web console is for admins and staff who would rather work at a desk. Both talk to the same record.
Android app
Punch in and out, apply for leave, see attendance and payslips — and, for admins, approve and manage on the go.
Web console
Attendance, leave, shifts, holidays, salary, devices and settings for admins and staff, in any browser.
Notifications
Every notification is opt-in. Employees choose alerts for leave decisions, device approvals and payslips; admins choose leave requests, every punch in and out, and an end-of-day summary of who was present, late, absent and on leave.
Updates that arrive
The app updates itself in the background and tells you when a new version is ready; urgent fixes can be required.
Data kept in India
Everything is stored in Microsoft Azure’s Central India region. Only crash reports and notification delivery pass through Google.
Being built now
Not available yet — listed so you know what is on the way, not to sell it.
Statutory deductions
EPF, ESI, professional tax and TDS on payslips. Today a payslip says plainly that none have been applied.
Tally export
Attendance and salary sent straight to Tally, for companies that keep their books there.
